FullStack Developer

FullStack Developer at Pointer is a problem solver – the developer gets a problem description or a functional requirement, and turns it into code in an efficient manner using the latest related technologies (Java, Vert.x, Angular etc…).

This developer is responsible for the development of various types of software systems, ranging from small proof-of-concept projects and all the way to full system solutions.

The developer is an independent person who can tackle hard challenges either alone or as part of a team. As a team player the developer is expected assist other team memebers who may struggle to complete their tasks.

Job Description:
Pointer is looking for a Software development engineer. The person should master Web technologies like Java, JavaScript, HTML5, Angular and REST based service.

Requirements:

• Sc. in Computer Sciences/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Java.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with OOD/OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with modern source control tools (SVN, Git, GitHub) and Agile software development.
• Experience with communication protocols (REST APIs/SOAP/SNMP/TCP/UDP).
• Familiarity with Linux / Unix.
• Experience with database systems and frameworks.
• Self-management and strong prioritization skills
• A team player.

Preferred qualifications:

• C/C++ knowledge.
• Experience with Angular.
• Linux/Unix skills.
